FA Cup Final: Manchester City v Watford

The FA Cup final between Manchester City and Watford will kick off at 17:00 BST on 18 May.

The Premier League rivals are set to go head-to-head for the historic trophy. City, chasing the quadruple, narrowly beat Brighton in Saturday’s semi-final courtesy of Gabriel Jesus’ early goal, while Watford came from behind to beat Wolves 3-2 after extra time on Sunday. The final will be broadcast live on BBC One from Wembley Stadium.

It can also be watched via bet365 live stream (To watch a bet365 stream users must have placed a bet that has been settled in the last 24 hours or have a funded account.)

The match will take place the weekend after the final set of Premier League fixtures on Sunday May 12 and two weeks before the Champions League final is held on Saturday June 1.

There will be plenty of interest in betting on this match and the bookies will be soon releasing a superb range of betting offers for the thriller between Manchester City and Watford. Previews will be being released shortly by online sites but in the mean time here is everything you need to know about the match.

Who Will Win the FA Cup Final 2019?
As always that is anyone’s guess but Manchester City are the 1/3 favourites (bet365 odds correct 10th April at 21.44), with Watford 8/1 and the draw 4/1. Man City are 1/7 to lift the trophy.

It’s easy to see why Man City are the favourites to win this match. City have beaten Watford on the last ten occasions. The last time out Man city won the match 3-1 (odds of 10/1 are available on a repeat 3-1 result).

Watford last beat Man City back in 1987 with a 1-0 win. A repeat 1-0 win for Watford is 20/1.

A 1-1 draw like in 2007 is priced at 17/2.

The odds above are from bet365, and were correct on the 10th April 2019 at 21.49.

The winners of the FA Cup will qualify for the group stage of the Europa League. City are all but assured of a Champions League spot for next season so if they win the cup, their Europa League group stage place will go to the next-highest ranked Premier League team not qualified for UEFA competitions.
