Belgium’s World Cup Fixtures, Squad, Group and Betting Odds
Belgium have one of the most talented teams in the World right now. They have been tipped to win a major tournament for years but have failed to pull the goods out of the bag, can the 2018 World Cup in Russia be the year that this talented stuffed team lives up to the hype that has surrounded it for years.
The Belgian national football team reached the quarter-finals of both Brazil 2014 and Euro 2016 in France. They were defeated 3-1 to Wales in the Quarter finals of Euro 2016.
They had a very strong qualifying campaign, dropping just two points in 10 matches, scoring 43 times in the process. Romelu Lukaku netted 11 of those goals, while Eden Hazard provided six goals and five assists. Kevin De Bruyne and Dries Mertens will be able to provide more creative flair going forward.
During the qualification process they did not let up, if they are to win Russia 2018 they will need to show no mercy. They need to block goals and score goals.
They have a great team, great strikers one of the best goal keepers in the world and a ton of other talent.
Belgium have quite a favourable list of fixtures facing Panama and Tunisia before they meet England. When they meet England they will probably already have qualified for the round of 16. In the next round they are likely to meet Colombia, Poland or Senegal.

Last time out Belgium reached the quarter finals. They didn’t qualify for the tournament for the two previous years. But prior to that they had quite a good record. They made fourth place in 1986. More often than not they have been eliminated at the round of 16.

Who is Belgium’s Key Player? Who Will Score the Most Goals for Belgium?
Belgium have several great players. But the players that is probably crucial is Kevin De Bruyne as he has been having an amazing season and it is hard to imagine that his form will not continue for his club.
Eden Hazard scored six goals during qualifying and is the bookies second favourite to score the most goals for Belgium.
But it is Lukaku that the bookies think will score the most goals for the Belgians.
